Workers and unions are the the backbone of our economy. Every worker deserves a living wage, the freedom to organize, and a safe work environment. In addition to expanding paid family leave, job training, and workforce development, I will fight to protect and strengthen workplace safety and the right to organize.

• Raise the Minimum Wage: Pass the Raise the Wage Act (introduced by Rep. Bobby Scott and Sen. Bernie Sanders) to finally increase the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour.

• Pass the PRO Act: Pass the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act (introduced by Rep. Bobby Scott and Sen. Bernie Sanders) to repeal anti-worker laws and protect the right to strike.

• Workplace Protections: Guarantee every worker the right to water, rest, and bathroom breaks and support the BE HEARD in the Workplace Act (introduced by Rep. Ayanna Pressley and Sen. Patty Murray) to increase protections against discrimination and harassment for all workers.

• Federal Jobs Guarantee: Support a Federal Jobs Guarantee to ensure every American adult has the right to employment with fair benefits.

• Responsible AI & Worker Protection: Regulate AI safety and support a worker transition fund for those displaced by automation.
